Feeling Festive? Try TikTok's Slow-Cooker Bailey's Hot Chocolate — Just Trust Us
In an age when TikTok decides what we eat, it's not unusual to go on a Bailey's hunt at lunchtime on a Friday in order to try out a hot chocolate recipe you recently discovered. And that's exactly what I did. As soon as I saw TikTok user @tamingtwins share their Bailey's-spiked hot chocolate made in a slow cooker, I knew immediately I had to give it a go.
Now, I'm a fan of hot chocolate, but you'll rarely find me jazzing it up. A
boring simple Cadbury's cocoa with a bit of milk and water and I'm good to go. Of course, a Bailey's at Christmas is always a good idea, the only thing is that I'm a little lazy, so the idea of making a Bailey's hot chocolate super easily in the slow cooker definitely appealed to me.
That, my friends, is why I found myself scanning the aisles at Tesco for a bottle of Bailey's on my lunch break. I followed the TikTok recipe to a T and all I can say is damn, it. was. decadent. Having said that, I absolutely added more Bailey's than the original recipe called for. It's so rich and creamy that it's definitely something I'd have as a special treat, but hey, isn't that what the festive season is for?
Ahead, see how I made TikTok's slow-cooker Bailey's hot chocolate at home.
